Libra, which is increasingly attentive to cases of mass tort and promoter of important class actions and collective actions for damages, welcomed the introduction of a norm that finally offers concreteness to the Agreement between the Italian Republic and the Federal Republic of Germany, made executive by Presidential Decree N. 1263 n. April 14, 1962, since for the first time it is given the possibility to the surviving I.M.I. and the heirs of fallen soldiers and veterans now deceased to obtain not only a judicial recognition of the serious damage suffered at the time (and which reverbarated on the life and family history of each deportee), but also financial compensation.
Given the goodness of the lawsuit but at the same time the difficulty that each plaintiff in concrete terms would have to face in order to independently take legal action, as well as the mandatory deadline dictated by the Legislature for legal action, Libra has opened up to the participation of all interested parties to assist them in quickly collecting all the relevant documentation to file a single case.
The legal action will be conducted without any advance cost or burden on the part of the injured parties or their descendants, and it will be aimed at ordering the Federal Republic of Germany to pay damages.
Libra will assist all participants even in the procedure to access the compensation fund.
All information regarding the necessary documentation and the methods of participation will be provided to interested parties at the indicated numbers.
THE DEADLINE TO JOIN THE CAMPAIGN IS 14 JUNE 2023.
